zzz movies

i am not a movie buff. am quite choosy with films. i haven't thought about my criteria for liking a film but but but you'll find here some movies -- I SLEPT THROUGH IN.

sleepy hollow
the first movie i remember sleeping through in. must be the bleak setting of the movie or probably my disinterest in watching the flick. it was my mom who prodded (forced) me to watch the movie with her and my friend daph.

"you know the story of ichabod crane, don't you?" mom asked. i just shrugged. i didn't know any bit of ichabod crane or any guy who had a crane-y neck.

back then johnny depp wasn't my ultimate MOMD (man of my dreams.. lol.) twas eminem back then.

and now i regret sleeping thru my johnny's film.

brokeback mountain
blame the 3 bottles of vodka ice i drank at my boy's birthday dinner before watching this movie.

or the highland drawl of ennis the penis.

or the still setting of watching the beauty of nature unfold while seated on a soft cushion in a cool cinema.

i slept through this supposedly revolutionary film! i know my gay friends will kill me for this because they love the movie so much. haha!

me no interesante. but my boy is a fan of hackenslash and wanted me to watch this film even if me no interesante.

i slept thru one-thirds of the movie! teehee!

(n.b. on a positive note, i liked the movie "hostel". and i think i watched saw III but i don't remember watching it. i must have slept thru it too. lol.)

and this is why i'm writing this blog now! haha! all of a sudden, i realize i've slept through quite a number of movies. including this one :p

the best part of my sleeping through this film is that i went off to dreamland during spidey's venom's sandman's and goblin's fight scene! what a lot of ravers say is the best part of the film!   heehee!!!

i was tired (traveled all the way from laguna to the airport to send off my lil cousins, then to makati), sleepy (had 3-5 hrs of sleep that day), and the ambiance of the cinema was just so right for me to snag some zzz's.

i must have missed some 20 minutes of the film(?). bet i should refund PhP 21.43 from the ayala cinemas.

i'd love to watch a rerun of their fight scene, though.

yeah, i slept through these films. hollywood bite meh! =D
